Open Garage Go, tap Recovery Services (or Emergency 24/7 for places open all day and night) and press Near me. The map moves to your location and shows the closest services. Tap a pin to call, send a WhatsApp message or get directions.
Which areas does Garage Go cover?
All 25 districts of Sri Lanka, from Jaffna to Hambantota and Colombo to Batticaloa. Every listing shows its district and town, so you can find help wherever your vehicle breaks down.
Is Garage Go free?
Yes. Finding services is free and needs no account. Listing your own garage, service center, recovery service, battery and tyre shop or mobile mechanic service is also free.
Does Garage Go take bookings or payments?
No. You contact the business directly by phone or WhatsApp and agree on the work and price with them. Garage Go does not charge commission.
How do I list my garage or service on Garage Go?
Create a free account, tap Add your place, choose the type of business, and fill in the name, location on the map, phone, WhatsApp, opening hours, services and photos. Our team checks every listing before it appears on the map.
Are the listings checked?
Yes. Every new or edited listing is reviewed by the Garage Go team before it becomes public. If something is wrong, contact us and we will fix or remove it.
Can I install Garage Go on my phone?
Yes. On Android use the install or Google Play button on the site; on iPhone tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. The app opens fast and keeps recently viewed pages and photos available on a weak connection.
Can I write about vehicles on Garage Go?
Yes. Signed-in users can write blog posts of 250 to 1000 words with 1 to 5 photos, such as repair tips or experiences. Posts are reviewed before they are published, and readers can vote them up or down.
